Scriptural Encouragement

There are many words of encouragement in the Bible. Here are four of them for you to ponder.

"Faith comes from hearing the message,

and the message is heard through the Word of God."

Romans 10:17

"Love one another as I have loved you."
John 13:34

"For the joy of the Lord

is your strength."

Nehemiah 8:10

"You will keep

in perfect peace

whose mind is stayed

on You."

Isaiah 26:3

Valentine's Special

Happy Valentine's Day!

It is so good to reflect on all those special people

in our lives and to say "Thank you."

Here is a fun dessert

to make as you celebrate.

Winter Delight

Winter's beauty is breath-taking. Look at the sparking snow crystals that look like tiny diamonds. See how a blanket of white covers over the drabness of barren trees and brown grass. Breathe in and take time to enjoy winter.

Watch my video on YouTube called "Winter Delight." You will enjoy the music and the slides.

Happy New Year!

May this new year be exciting

and full of wonder.

Christmas Wonder

"And she gave birth to her Son, her Firstborn,

and she wrapped Him in swaddling clothes

and laid Him in a manger..." Luke 2:7 (Amplified version)

"Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing (saying) that has come to pass,

which the Lord has made known to us.

So they went with haste...
and found Mary and Joseph and the Baby
lying in a manger."

Luke 2:15-16 (Amplified version)

Who is this Baby?

As we celebrate Christmas, may we truly REJOICE

for God's unspeakable gift to each of us.

Christmas Goodies

Christmas is a special time of the year. Often it includes entertaining and having family and friends over. So time for some ideas on what to serve.

Does it include baking or some other kind of goodies?

I'm not much of a cook, soooooo it has to be simple and fast to make. Off to the web I went. Yeah!! Found some things that I can handle. Will use them several times.
