Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is such a delightfully, special day. It is when we are reminded to think about love and those we love. But it is also a time to put those thoughts into actions. It would be a shame to limit that to just one day in the year. Love and its expression should be a daily part of our lives.

Thanksgiving or thanksgiving

Is there a difference between Thanksgiving with a capital "T" 
and thanksgiving with a lower case "t"? Yes, there is.

Thanksgiving is a noun and is the name for the holiday 
we celebrate in November.

As a verb, thanksgiving is "the act of giving thanks."

The holiday is celebrated for one day once a year, but everyday should be a day of giving thanks for all the blessings the Lord has given us.

Country Charm

It's hard to believe that fall is here with beautiful things to enjoy!! It is one of my favorite seasons of the year. Have missed it because of living in Florida for the past six years. That is why I really like the kit "Country Charm" by Lynne Anzelc Designs. So lovely.

I like watching fantasy movies, but was not really into doing fantasy-type things with my art. Lynne Anzelc Designs changed my mind because of several of her kits. "Wonderland," "Floral Fancy" and the new kit "Just BEEing Me" spurred me on and now I'm hooked. Oh! My! I felt a blog post coming on so just had to get busy.

A New Kind of Puzzle

Many hours of my life have been spent putting together puzzles. It all started as a young child and continued until a few years ago. But now I'm doing a different kind of puzzles--scrapbook artistry. 

Each kit that I purchase contains a variety of pieces that need to be put together to create an amazing picture. It is so much fun to see what finally emerges.
